PBAT-Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate, CAS No: 67423-067

PBAT-polybutylene adipate terephthalate is a fully biodegradable copolymer. In the polymer, the butylenes adipate allows the polymer to disintegrate fully into water and carbon dioxide in soil and water under suitable temperatures. The PBAT has good flexibility, resilience, and toughness. It is a random copolymer; when blended with other biodegradable polymers such as PLA and starch for example, it becomes a PBAT derived/mixed plastic resin.

Our supplier has gotten some international biodegradable resin certificates on their PBAT derived plastic resins, such as European Standard EN13432,  ”OK-COMPOST” & ”OK-COMPOST HOME” , American standard BPI (ASTM D-6400), Australia standard AS4736, AS5810 and FDA TEST REPORT, Chinese Management, Environment Certificates, Export Certificate etc.

The PBAT derived/mixed plastic resin could be used in nearly all of plastic production:  blow molding, casting, extrusion/hot pressing, injection molding etc. The plastic products could be bags such as shopping bags and garbage bags, special bags for agricultural and horticultural uses; films such as wrapping film, mulch film, special film such as anti-bacterium film in the food processing industry; disposable plastics such as disposable tableware in restaurants, hotel and hospitals, food packing boxes in food distribution, and medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries uses, for example.
